About Us

I am Tim Coronado, the owner of TMC Heating & Cooling. I could make this a typical “about us” page. But I’m going to skip all of that to hopefully show you that we are a different kind of heating and air conditioning company — one built on honesty, integrity, and hard work.

To say that I never imagined that I would end up in this industry is an understatement. However, looking back on how I got here, I have to say it was destined to be.

As a child, growing up in Modesto, life wasn’t always easy. My mother raised my sister and I, however I was fortunate to have family members and friends, who were male role models for me. Their influence helped shape me into the man I am today. As a young man, I was shy and often “marched to the beat of my own drum” however I had a real passion for making other people happy.

When I graduated from high school I got a job and went straight to work. I’ve worked at multiple retail stores, but “retail” didn’t feel right to me. For a brief time, I worked as an installer for a fire sprinkler company, with my Uncle. This job gave me a taste of how hard work can pay off. When that job ended, I found myself without a job or a direction.

On the hunt for a job again, I answered an ad for a “parts runner” with an HVAC company. As it turned out, the only position actually available was for a residential HVAC installer – something I never had any desire to do. But I needed work, so I decided to give it a go! That was 2009 when I left that job, and I’ve never regretted working there, because it showed me the career that I wanted to pursue.

Despite many challenges, I have built a company I love to work for, my own company — TMC Heating & Cooling! With my own company I can do things differently, better. I can use my capabilities and expertise to advance the comfort of others, give back to the community, and forge lifelong relationships with clients. My clients appreciate how much I care and are happy to refer people they know. These are the principles on which TMC Heating & Cooling was built.
